This is some text inside of a div block.

Where do you see the paradigm at work?

We are looking for companies and organizations that live according to this paradigm, or come close to it, and for cases where cooperation and shared purpose are undermined. One concrete situation is enough: what the setting was, what happened, and what it led to.

Frequently asked

Questions we get asked

Prosociality, as understood here, is not charity added on top of business. It is the core activity of economic value creation: everything of economic value is created with others and for others. When relationships are designed well, cooperation becomes the engine of performance. This differs from the conventional understanding of prosociality as mere altruism.
The paradigm is designed for business organizations, and it applies equally to non-profit and public organizations. Where teams thrive in business today, they often already meet the criteria of the prosocial paradigm, but this is rarely managed systematically. Once the paradigmatic logic is understood, it can be managed deliberately, improving economic performance along with agility, resilience, wellbeing, health and sustainability.
The logic of the paradigm is nothing other than practice. Ongoing studies and the wider management literature support the aspects the prosocial paradigm brings together. It is a practice-oriented paradigm, and detailed research on it remains important.
The Educators page provides guidance on how it can be taught, including key steps and teaching materials. There is also an ongoing dialogue among people interested in teaching it. Feel free to reach out through the contact form.
Research continually reproduces a paradigm, either by repeating it or by criticizing it without offering a workable alternative. The prosocial market economy proposes a genuine alternative that meets both the logic of economic performance and the requirements of a sustainable future. The Research page presents the foundations.

Everybody can be a bringer of change, and the work starts with oneself: recognizing that even while pursuing a personal mission, one is always part of something bigger. Executives can lead change in their organizations, researchers can shift the narrative in research, and educators can shape the next generation of decision makers.
